Molyvos Manor is part (half) of a large home built in 1926 by Ioannes Krallis after his wedding to Maritsa Kalligeris to house their family. The house was never truly lived-in since the premature death of Ioannes led Maritsa back to her family in the village of Sykamnia. In the years that followed it was occupied by the Germans (during WW II), the communist guerillas, the army, and earthquake victims. Only in the mid-eighties was it divided among Ioannes’ two sons Stratis and Nikos, and renovated. Stratis and his family lived in it for roughly 7 summers until they moved to a newer house in the middle of an olive grove in the village environs. Since 1994 the house, now called Molyvos Manor, has seen numerous guests, many returning year after year, choosing this unique spot for their vacations.

Molyvos Manor is a three bedroom house with a spacious living-room, large kitchen and dining room and two full bathrooms (one on each floor). Two of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor and are accessible through an internal staircase. These rooms enjoy 12 foot + ceilings, while the third, ground-floor bedroom, is self-contained with its own hall doors keeping it and its bathroom separate from the living-room and kitchen areas. Most alluring of Molyvos Manor’s features is its veranda with views on wonderful Molyvos sunsets and the large swimming pool patio overlooking the harbour and the Aegean Sea.

The house is located a two minute walk from the harbour and its restaurants and about ten minutes from Molyvos’ main beach. Ten leisurely minutes on Molyvos’ cobble streets will take you to the village bakery and the main market as well as pharmacies and the local medical centre. Around twenty minutes (slightly more at a leisurely pace) will bring you to the village’s medieval castle. All in all Molyvos Manor is ideally located for the person seeking relaxation in proximity to Molyvos’ active social life.

* The bedrooms are air-conditioned and the house is equipped with wireless DSL internet connection
